Medical Women’s Association of Zambia is a non-profit, non-governmental voluntary association for female doctors practicing in Zambia or abroad. Our mission is to advance the personal and professional development of medical women and students, developing leaders at all levels of the health industry while promoting the health of Zambian women and their families.
Highlighting the experience and potential of our members
We represent a unique and important voice, highlighting the experiences and potential of our members, and we leverage these attributes to advocate for improvements in the health of women and their families. MWAZ aspires to create a platform that influences and informs positive, relevant changes on matters affecting our membership and the targeted members of the community by bringing together different stakeholders.
